La inceput au fost multi. De fapt multe. Piese inscrise. Peste 250 conform declaratiilor oficiale (mai multe detalii aici). Dupa aceea a inceput selectia. Juriul a ales cele 24 de melodii pentru semifinalele Eurovision – lista completa fiind:

Ok… In acest moment apare prima surpriza: Andreea Balan si Mandinga se retrag din cursa pentru Eurovision – 3 piese parasesc concursul si in locul lor evident intra alte trei:
- Love Is All You Need – interpret Nico, compozitor Laurenţiu Matei
- Liubi, Liubi I Love You – interpret Loco Mondo, compozitor Marian Bogdan Taşcău
- Do the Tango with Me – interpret Wassabi, compozitor Marius Moga.
Urma ca Televiziunea Romana sa promoveze piesele ramase in concurs – in paralel insa si alte televiziuni facea acelasi lucru invitand concurentii de la preselectia pentru Eurovision. Toate bune si frumoase asadar – inregistrandu-se chiar si videoclipuri pentru melodii.
In sfarsit vin serile cele mari. Dupa prima seara se vor afla care sunt primii sase finalisti. Pana la marea seara insa… Piesa Make-it este eliminata din selectia nationala Eurovision 2007. („Regretăm cele întâmplate, dar dacă am fi trecut cu vederea această situaţie riscam să transformăm într-o mascaradă întregul concurs. Giulia Nahmany este o solistă cu o voce bună, şi-a demonstrat calităţile la Cerbul de Aur şi ne pare rău pentru cele întâmplate. Însă, sperăm ca această situaţie să le dea de gândit celor care nu tratează cu toată seriozitatea concursul”, a adăugat Dan Manoliu.)
Intr-un final vine si prima seara de selectie si in sfarsit se afla primii sase finalisti la Eurovision 2007, selectia nationala:
1. Nico – melodia Dulce-amăruie (compozitor Costi Ioniţă, Marcel Prodan; textier: Constantin Neguţu)
3. Morandi&Wassabi – Crazy (compozitori Marius Moga, Andrei Ropcea; textier: Marius Moga)
5. Desperado şi Tony Poptămaş – Where Were You (compozitori Sandy Deac, Kovacsz Laszlo; textieri: Sandy Deac, Vlad Spătar, Ovidiu Buhătel, Tony Poptămaş)
7. Rednex feat. Ro-Mania – Well-o-wee (compozitori Daniel Alexandrescu, Radu Fornea, Mircea Presel; textier: Annika Ljungberg, Jens Sylsjö, Anders Lundström, Daniel Alexandrescu, Radu Fornea, Mircea Presel);

Apoi, dintr-un comunicat oficial, aflam ca piesele Dracula, my love si Lovestruck raman in concurs. Inainte insa de seara in care urmau sa se aleaga si ultimii concurenti… Trupa Indiggo este eliminata. Buun. Mergem mai departe. Se afla in sfarsit si finalistii selectiei nationale Eurovision 2007:
Nico, Trupa Veche, Morandi&Wassabi, Marcel Pavel, Desperado şi Tony Poptămaş, Tibi Scobiola, Rednex feat. RoMania, Simplu&Andra, Locomondo, Ionuţ Ungureanu (Provincialii), New Effect feat. Moni-K şi din nou Desperado şi Tony Poptămaş sunt finaliştii din selecţia naţională Eurovision 2007.
Credeati insa ca aici se termina totul? Unde ar mai fi farmecul? Asa ca… trei melodii sunt eliminate din finala Eurovision 2007. Este vorba despre Sinada, Well-o-wee si Dracula my love (DUPA ce anterior Dracula, my love ramasese in concurs. Deci, ramane, da’ pleaca).
Finally, maine, 10 februarie vom avea O finala cu… Surprizen la selectia nationala Eurovision 2007 (asta daca astazi nu mai apare ceva).
Ce parere aveti de acest proces de selectie? De ce piesele care au ajuns sa fie eliminate nu au fost eliminate de la bun inceput? ratingul e important si cu siguranta multi s-au uitat sa ii vada si pe cei cunocuti (ex Simplu si Dracula, my love), dar poate fi acesta un motiv?
Poate ca initial iti scapa faptul ca o piesa ar semana cu alta. Dar vin si intreb: cum se poate sa decizi ca o piesa ramane in concurs si apoi sa o elimini? Argumente noi au aparut cu siguranta in sprijinul ideii sustinute si la prima contestatie. De ce nu au fost prezentate de la bun inceput?
Care va fi pana la urma soarta participantului de anul acesta la Eurovision? (in trecut acest concurs lansa vedete care au ajuns de renume international – si nu pentru un an sau mai rau pentru o melodie sau doua. Era vorba despre artisti in adevaratul sens al cuvantului – cantareti de valoare si muzica de inalta calitate.) In ultimii ani reprezentantii Romaniei au ocupat locuri din ce in ce mai bune. Oare cine va fi castigatorul de maine? Ce sanse va avea? Cat de urmarit va fi show-ul de selectie?
Later edit: iata astazi un nou comunicat cu privire la contestatiile formulate de ultimii dintre cei ce au fost respinsi.

Arhi, eu zic sa nu fim neaparat asa de duri apropo de Romania – care este o tara cu locuri superbe, care iti pot umple sufletul de liniste si bucurie, o tara cu fauna si vegetatie minunate, cu oameni draguti si din pacate (e-adevarat) si cu unii care nu ii fac cinste. O prezentare frumoasa a Romaniei – cu elemente poate nu de toti cunoscute a fost realizata de cei de la Ursus – iata filmuletul (probabil deja cunoscut):
Despre concurs…Se intampla si la altii – ca slava domnului dispute despre melodii au tot fost. Doar ca la noi mi s-a parut ca etapa “disputelor” a fost cam lunga – si apropo de Dracula, my love – trebuie sa marturisesc ca nu mi se pare a fi o piesa copiata – poate ca seamana – dar multe seamana astazi intre ele – de la noi si de pe la altii. Eu una as fi mizat pe aceasta piesa – as fi votat-o chiar – si cred ca cu ea am fi avut si o sansa la Eurovision. Probabil ca in final nu Simplu si Andra au pierdut – ci noi romanii. Sunt insa sigura ca melodia va ramane un hit la noi.
EI, la noi predomina legalitatea, ma intelegi. Ca tipii de la Eurovision aveau ei idee cand a fost difuzata melodia.
PS: o tara e facuta de oamenii ei, nu de locuri…
S-ar putea usor spune ca orice padure isi are uscaturile ei – insa nu inseamna ca nu mai vedem padurea din cauza copacilor, nu? Omul sfinteste locul – si asta e adevarat, dar oare tara nu mai este la fel de frumoasa doar pentru ca in ea traiesc si persoane ce lasa de dorit la capitolul calitate? E corect sa ne gandim la aceste persoane si cele ce merita sa fie apreciate, oamenii de valoare, prietenii nostri, persoanele ce fac numele Romaniei sa fie rostit cu mandrie sa fie lasate in umbra?
Oricum aceasta chestiune este una ce poate fi dezbatuta zile si luni in sir si pareri pot fi si ele o sumedenie.
Poate ca mai in spiritul postului de astazi am putea sa incercam sa ne gandim cine va castiga finala Eurovision – cine ne va reprezenta anul acesta la concurs? (legat de Dracula, my love ideea era ca prima oara argumentul utilizat a fost ca piesa e plagiat, “acuzatie” ce a fost respinsa, iar apoi ca a fost difuzata anterior)
M-am mai dezvoltat eu in directia asta. Acuzatie respinsa in ce fel? Am ascultat piesele. Inceputul de la E-Type si refrenul lui Moga sunt identice. Difera aranjamentul muzical. Comenta cineva la mine ca nu am autoritatea sa ma pronunt. Eu cred ca o am:)
Din alt punct de vedere, cred sincer ca Dracula my love ar fi avut sanse de a castiga Eurovisionul, pentru ca daca merge Marcel Pavel, aceasta ragalie nationala, vom avea sansa de a fi de rasul curcilor pe plan international.

Discutia este legata de participarea Romaniei in 2007 la Eurovision. Dupa numeroase etape si contestatii, asta seara este finala. Oare cine ne va reprezenta? Care va fi melodia cu care Romania se va duce la Eurovision? – fara a insulta pe niciunul dintre participanti! Ce melodie are sansele cele mai mari si de ce?
Wow! ce filmuletz o facut astia cu berea lor!
Ei, si filmul nici macar nu incepe propriu-zis sa acopere subiectul semnificatiei romanilor in Istoria Universala… practic noi am vazut doar “coperta” in acest filmuletz.
Ce bine ar fi fost sa vedem si la noi la alde ProTV asa filmulete… insa, in mod inexplicabil, managerii pe care ii numesc proprietarii posturilor TV aleg, invariabil, toti si intotdeauna numai (deci: NUMAI) subiecte vomitive si mincinoase si absurde, de fapt, precum “la bloc” sau stirile de ora 5… iar unii inca se incapataneaza sa numeasca asa ceva “coincidenta” sau “rezultatul studierii pietei”.
Nu e cine stie ce dpdv artistic Dracula my love….E chiar banala. Dar ar fi prins la publicul european ahtiat dupa Dracula.
