Intalnire la Elysee – Rodica Ojog-Brasoveanu
Eram la cumparaturi in hypermarket. Cumparaturi cu tinta – 2-3 produse. Am trecut insa si pe langa standurile de carte si am remarcat – ca sa nu zic ca mi-a sarit in ochi direct – o carte de-a Rodicai Ojog-Brasoveanu. Este vorba despre Intalnire la Elysee. N-am rezistat si am cumparat-o pentru ca trebuie sa va marturisesc faptul ca imi place cum scrie aceasta autoare si a reusit sa ma prinda in fiecare poveste scrisa de ea si pe care am citit-o (mai am cateva romane achizitionate si inca necitite pentru ca imi place sa stiu ca mai am ceva de acest autor care imi place, cate ceva de savurat).
Iata-ma asadar cu un roman din seria celor de spionaj scrise de autoare. Actiunea se petrece in timpul Primului Razboi Mondial. In carte veti intalni ca aparitie secundara un nume cu siguranta cunoscut: Averescu. Insa personajele sunt imaginare – chiar daca numele de familie al unuia este Dabija (prenumele este Dimitrie). Sau poate ca autoarea a cautat in documente si personajele sunt in fapt reale. Oricum un lucru e cert: nu ai impresia nicio secunda de falsitate. Dimpotriva.
La fel ca intotdeauna fiecare personaj este bine inchegat, cu trasaturi care se pastreaza in timp, cu limbaj specific grupului sau clasei sociale din care face parte. Si tot la fel ca de obicei actiunea te prinde odata cu prima pagina. Sunt aproape 500 de pagini de citit – dar va asigur ca doar probleme urgente de rezolvat sau somnul ce va ajunge din urma va vor determina sa lasati acest roman din mana.
Desi in vremea razboiului plasata actiunea, nu avem de-a face cu frontul, cu lupte directe ori cu decese in batalii. Fiind vorba despre un roman de spionaj vorbim mai degraba de culise si de strategii.
Permiteti-mi sa va spun de asemenea ca veti zambi citind aceasta carte. O data ca va veti da seama de anumite trasaturi ale romanilor in orice infruntari si a doua oara pentru ca sunt anumite personaje astfel create incat au un simt al umorului teribil.
Intreg romanul veti incerca sa va dati seama cine sunt cele doua personaje care isi dau intalnire in prima seara de pace la Elysee. Apoi, la final, veti afla si daca acest lucru se intampla.
Adaug doar ca intre intrigile militare avem de-a face si cu o seama de femei bine creionate, una chiar spectaculoasa atat prin fire cat si prin actiuni, si aventuri de toate soiurile. Un roman in care avem asadar de toate: actiune, spionaj, umor, personaje puternice si fascinante, oameni si temerile lor si evident amprenta Rodicai Ojog-Brasoveanu.
Mie mi-a placut romanul Intalnire la Elysee – asa ca vi-l recomand si voua. Ati citit ceva de Rodica Ojog-Brasoveanu? Ce? V-a placut?

Am citit cartea “Cianura pentru un suras * Buna seara, Melania!”, nu sunt fana infocata a romanelor politiste, dar mi-a placut mult cum scrie, m-a tinut in suspans. Cartii pe care am citit-o ii dau nota 9. 🙂
Din seria Melania – frumoase ambele, le-am citit si eu mai demult. E drept mie imi si place cum scrie Rodica Ojog-Brasoveanu si imi plac si romanele polististe si nu numai 🙂 Poate vei avea vreme sa o citesti si pe aceasta – e cumva in acelasi stil si totusi altfel dat fiind si tipul: roman de razboi :).

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
