Modul de a citi cartile primite vs. cartile cumparate
Am inceput ieri lectura unei carti cumparate, aceasta dupa ce tocmai am terminat de citit o carte primita si mi-am dat seama de o diferenta pe care m-am gandit sa o impartasesc cu voi si sa va intreb daca este la fel si pentru voi.
Intai o precizare: imi place sa citesc cartile stiind totusi cat mai putin despre poveste in sine. Recunosc ca nu sunt musai dintre cei care vor sa descopere un anumit stil stiind deja ce se intampla. Imi place sa ma bucur atat de actiune (sa nu o stiu), cat si de stilul in care este scrisa povestea in sine.
Cum e cititul cartilor primite
Unii prieteni stiu ca iti place sa citesti, asa ca in anumite ocazii primesti in dar carti de la ei. Mie mi s-a intamplat si m-am bucurat, mai ales ca astfel am descoperit chiar niste autori interesanti. In plus, avand rubrica Books Wave unde prezint cam 3 carti pe saptamana, primesc acele volume fara a le fi ales eu.
Am asadar parte de o seama de carti primite. Cand incep lectura las ca impresia mea sa se formeze doar in baza copertei 1. Nu citesc introducerile, nu citesc textul de pe coperta 4. Vreau ca totul sa fie o descoperire completa, sa am o lectura neinfluentata in vreun fel de vreo prezentare – a autorului sau a vreunui critic. Vreau sa imi formez singura parerea despre carte, fara a porni cu o anume interpretare deja in minte.
Cum e cititul cartilor cumparate
In cazul cartilor cumparate un lucru important se intampla. Inainte de a cumpara cartea deseori o rasfoiesc, ma uit putin si pe coperta 4, ma mai uit si pe cuprins. Imi formez o idee – imi dau seama asadar daca mi-ar placea sau daca as descoperi informatii noi, de care sa am nevoie, in ea, inainte de a o cumpara. Abia apoi o achizitionez si, fireste, o citesc.

Cred ca nu mi-am mai cumparat ocarte de cel putin 3 luni, si nu e ca nu as avea bani, sau ca nu mi-as permite, insa cea mai mare parte de carti o primesc. Am insa carti pe care le primesc si am posibilitatea sa imi aleg eu ce, iar atunci imi cantaresc optiunile cam o ora, fiindca nu ma pot hotara intre ce sa aleg.
Daca mi-as cumpara totusi carti, ar sfarsi in biblioteca aproximativ cateva luni bune, fiindca nu am timp de ele.
Mereu citesc textul de pe coperta 4 fiind foarte curioasa.

La mine cred ca e invers ca la Miranda: nu prea primesc carti in dar si mi le cumpar eu. De cele mai multe ori, merg la anticariate si rasfoiesc ca si tine – cuprins, primele pagini – mi s-a intamplat o singura data sa fiu nemultumita de cartea cumparata chiar de mine 🙂 De atunci rasfoiesc mai cu atentie!

@mmada – Intr-adevar, faptul ca o carte reprezinta o investitie (o suma data) te face sa fii atent/a la ce cumperi. Este bine insa ca tu acum esti in perioada in care primesti carti in dar. Daca persoanele care ti le ofera te si cunosc, atunci e clar ca ai mari sanse sa ai parte de lecturi placute 😉
@Anca Si mie mi s-a intamplat o data totusi sa nu imi place o carte aleasa chiar de mine (povestea era foarte OK, stilul din pacate nu mi-a placut; n-am terminat cartea).
Oricum ar fi – cumparate sau primite – lecturi placute va doresc si eu.
