Am cunoscut-o si eu pe Miss Marple. Da, am cunoscut-o indirect, prin intermediul cartilor Agathei Christie. Alaturi de Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple este un personaj memorabil in romanele politiste. Totul este greu de crezut asadar de politie. Miss Marple nu se lasa cu una, cu doua, si reface calatoria prietenei sale. Remarca un loc unde trenul ar fi incetinit suficient pentru ca o persoana sa arunce acolo un cadavru. Dar Miss Marple este si ea o batranica ale carei puteri nu mai sunt cum au fost. Si-aici apare prietena ei, Lucy, careia ii gaseste un loc de munca la vila care se afla pe un teren impresionant in apropiere de locul unde Miss Marple suspecta ca s-ar putea gasi corpul femeii omorate in tren. Iar Lucy are exact aceasta misiune: sa gaseasca acel corp.
Munca nu este tocmai usoara, dar Lucy reuseste sa o gaseasca tanara femeie. Ati crede ca lucrurile se simplifica, dar in fapt de-abia de aici se complica. Nu se stie cine este, locul unde este gasita este suspect si in final toti cei de la vila sunt si ei suspecti. Daca va spun ca mai mor niste persoane va veti da deja seama ca este exact tiparul Agathei Christie. Nu va dezvalui ce se intampla si nici nu va spun cine omorase fata si de ce. Va spun insa ca este un roman foarte bine scris, interesant, atractiv, o povestee captivanta care va tine cu sufletul la gura si va provoaca sa anticipati cum se va sfarsi totul.
Eu am luat cartea dintr-un hypermarket cand eram la cumparaturi, dar observ ca o gasiti pe Elefant.ro la un pret redus. Multe motive asadar pentru a o citi!

Cartile Agathei Christie au farmec in orice limba, iar in cea originala cu atat mai mult. Eu recunosc ca tocmai mi-am mai luat cateva de ea, in romana, dar am primit si una mareeee, cu vreo 3 povesti, in engleza. Primita anul acesta de la sot, luata in una din calatoriile lui cu serviciul. Un cadou frumos, momentan insa o carte intr-o cutie in depozit. Abia astept insa sa am unde sa o pun, in biblioteca, si sa o citesc 🙂 Pana atunci ma delectez cu cele in romana – 5 la numar 😉 pe care o sa le prezint si aici pentru cei care stiu deja lucrarile autoarei, sau pentru cei care doresc sa le descopere.
Daca mai ai chef de citit si ai terminat cartile, apeleaza la cineva care are cat se poate de multe carti ale ei. Adicatelea la mine 🙂
