250 de carti recenzate pe PRwave.ro – si continuam
Am spus in nenumarate randuri ca imi place sa citesc. De asemenea incurajam cititul – atat al cartilor din domeniu, cat si al celor de timp liber.
Acum ceva vreme (a se citi cativa ani) am lansat la PRwave rubrica Books Wave – un loc unde ne-am propus sa prezentam cartile in mod obiectiv, incercand sa sugeram cui s-ar adresa acea carte, mentionand ce contine astfel incat cei ce citesc aceste carti sa iti dea seama daca le-ar fi utila cartea sau daca le-ar placea un roman sau altul.
Am avut multe tipuri de recenzii – in functie si de carte. Una e recenzia unei carti de PR de exemplu si alta a uneia cu vampiri 🙂
Am ajuns la 250 de titluri prezentate. Ne-am bucurat sa descoperim acest lucru – cel de-a 250-a carte prezentata fiind 50 de experimente privind psihologia managerului. Cum sa reusesti la locul de munca. Mai avem deja cateva carti primite pe care urmeaza sa le prezentam in saptamanile urmatoare. Sunt atat cateva romane, cat si cateva lucrari de PR si comunicare si branding.
Va invitam asadar sa descoperiti in fiecare saptamana cate 2-3 titluri prezentate in cadrul rubricii de recenzii Books Wave.
Am inceput cu un titlu de la Brandbuilders – Cercetarea de marketing. Am continuat cu titluri de la (amintim editurile in ordinea colaborarilor) BizBooks, Curtea Veche Publishing House, Editura C.H. Beck, Editura Tritonic, Quality Books, Editura Aldo Press, Humanitas, Grupul Editorial Corint (Corint Junior, Editura Leda, Editura Runa), Editura Vremea, Pro Editura si Tipografie, Editura CD Press, Editura Herald, AMSTA Publishing, Cartio si Editura Polirom.
Le multumim tuturor celor ce au dat curs invitatiei noastre de a colabora. Cu unele edituri colaborarea a fost mai scurta – cu altele continua si in prezent. Desigur ca suntem deschisi si spre noi colaborari – daca sunt edituri ce doresc acest lucru.
Speram sa contribuim la a promova lectura si dragul de carte – acest obiect ce ramane din generatie in generatie, acest obiect cu parfum special – cartea cu miasma-i minunata de la tipar ori cu paginile ingalbenite de timp.
Lectura placuta va dorim tuturor! si va asteptam sa ne fiti alaturi in continuare!

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
