Unii vad padurea, altii copacii, unii oportunitatea altii doar potentialele greutati
Se spune ca frumusetea e in ochiul celui care priveste. Eu indraznesc sa spun ca nu doar frumusetea.
Sa luam o padure. Oameni diferiti o vor vedea in mod diferit. O sa va arat cum acelasi lucru se intampla si in afaceri – si nu numai.
Unii vor vedea padurea in sine. Vor vedea intregul, ceea ce se vede din afara – sa presupunem ca stai si te uiti la acea padure – destul de aproape, dar nu ai intrat inca in padure. Vezi doar prim-planul sa spunem asa. Viziunea e oarecum limitata – dar viziunea e una de ansamblu.
Altii vor zari copacii. Vor vedea asadar partile intregului. Din cauza copacilor insa nu intrevad si intregul. Nu vad padurea ca tot – ci parti componente. Copac langa copac, apa, animale si eventual intrevad relatiile intre aceste parti componente. Poate ca pe acesti oameni i-ati asocia cu persoanele minutioase. Insa deseori cei care nu sunt in stare sa vada intregul – chiar daca vad bine partile componente – in afaceri pot pune bete in roate. Chiar daca li se explica si li se arata ca partile alcatuiesc un tot, ei s-ar putea sa nu inteleaga. In consecinta toti cei care identifica acest tip de observare la cineva vor trebui sa isi adapteze explicatiile.
Sa revenim la padure.
Mai sunt oameni care vor vedea oportunitatea. Ei vor zari potentialul, ce se poate face cu aceasta padure. Atentie, nu ne gandim aici la ideea de defrisare, dar e vorba de a zari posibilitatea unor plimbari, si multe alte asemenea. Aceasta viziune va fi cu mult detaliata imediat (cand trecem si la partea practica).
Conex celor care vad oportunitatea, de fapt aproape in opozitie cu acestia, se afla cei care vad doar greutatile care pot aparea atunci cand se doreste sa se realizeze ceva. Mai clar spus, nu apuca sa se fructifice padurea – sau sa se incerce de fapt sa se gaseasca modalitatile cele mai potrivite pentru a fructifica potentialul ca vin unii care vad doar ce poate merge rau, cat de greu poate fi pentru a face ceva si asa mai departe.
Ziceam de afaceri si de parte practica. Va invit asadar sa luam in calcul o idee. O idee poate fi in fapt, padurea. Cum reactioneaza insa oamenii la idei? Simplu.
Unii sunt atrasi de idee in sine. Vad intregul. Le surade, considera ca s-ar putea face si sunt atrasi de ea si gata sa se implice. Altii vad deja partile componente, cum poate fi ideea pusa in practica, ce se poate face, care sunt pasii de urmat si asa mai departe. Poate scapa din vedere intregul – dar vad ideea prinzand viata. Altii vad oportunitatea, vad dincolo de primul strat, se gandesc la moduri de a dezvolta ideea pe viitor, vin cu sugestii si asa mai departe. Ei si la final (desi poate cel mai des intalniti) ii vedem pe cei care vin imediat sa iti spuna de ce ideea nu poate fi pusa in practica, de ce greutati te vei lovi. Nici macar n-au apucat sa analizeze ideea, potentialul ca deja se gandesc de ce nu ar putea merge. Si daca ar vedea raul pentru a gasi solutii si tot poate ca ar fi bine – dar vad raul si chiar daca le sunt demontate unul cate unul argumentele, ei tot gasesc noi si noi probleme imaginare.
O idee e o idee si e aceeasi idee prezentata tuturor. Si totusi oamenii o vad diferit. Unii te vor incuraja sa o pui in practica. Altii iti vor spune sa o lasi balta. Unii te vor ajuta sa o dezvolti, te vor ajuta cu argumente bune sa iti adaptezi ideea pentru a avea succes.

De aceea cred ca o echipa ideala ar trebui sa fie compusa din toate aceste tipologii, fiecare venind cu punctul sau forte (unul este lider, altul e atent la detalii etc.)
In mod normal da, insa este o foarte mare problema daca atunci cand vii cu o idee primul pe care il gasesti e cel care vede doar de ce nu ar merge. Multe idei se pierd astfel si spun asta cu parere de rau. Din acelasi motiv multi oameni renunta la a mai veni cu propuneri – atat timp cat sunt doar criticate (in mediul de lucru, in cadrul parteneriatelor etc.) si cat nu exista acea atitudine deschisa. Oricine – analizand ideea dupa momentul euforic – cred ca poate vedea si ce nu ar putea merge bine si astfel sa preintampine. Sau asa ar trebui. Dar sa ai doar o minte limitata…

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine.
