Twitter chats – poate cel mai bun lucru de facut pe Twitter
Twitterul este folosit din diverse motive – pentru a fi la curent cu ce scriu unii, cu scop de promovare personala sau a firmei etc.
Unul dintre lucrurile cele mai bune pe care le puteti face – si pe care le recomand – pe Twitter este sa participati la asa numitele Twitter chats. Acestea sunt practic discutii care au loc intr-o anumita zi a saptamanii si la o anumita ora. Sunt asadar discutii care au loc de mai multe ori si pentru urmarirea carora se folosesc hashtag-uri.
Exista si un Twitter Chat Schedule – un document in care sunt reunite discutiile. Totul a pornit acum cativa ani – prin 2009 – cand Meryl Evans a scris un post cu toate discutiile de pe Twitter despre care stia. Si de-acolo lista a evoluat.
Trebuie mentionat ca exista discutii pe diverse domenii: PR, social media, afaceri, event planning dar si discutii de pilda pentru si intre mamici, legate de travel si asa mai departe.
Discutiile au loc in engleza si da, multe au loc noaptea (in timpul zilei in SUA de exemplu). Sunt altele care au cate 2 editii astfel incat sa poata participa oamenii din intreaga lume (un exemplu este discutia #TTOT – pe travel).
Eu am vazut si participat la cateva asemenea discutii care ma interesau – pe domeniile mele de activitate – noaptea. Particip si la unele ziua – cel mai adesea pe travel.
Daca nu puteti participa la Twitter chats, tot aveti de castigat. Puteti salva hastagurile in coloane separate – eu asa am cateva si pe PR si social media si afaceri, dar si pe travel. Astfel, chiar daca nu particip pot vedea constant despre ce s-a vorbit si ce raspunsuri au fost sau ce linkuri interesante s-au oferit. Eu folosesc Hootsuite – dar sigur multe alte platforme ofera posibilitatea aceasta de a salva un hashtag intr-o coloana.
Iata asadar documentul cu toate twitter chat-urile (e pe Google docs pus) si daca doriti puteti folosi un time zone converter pentru a afla cand au loc discutiile.

Later edit: motivul pentru care va recomand aceasta lista si aceste discutii online este ca twitter chat-urile sunt utile si interesante atat pentru cei aflati la inceput de drum – studenti, oameni in pozitii de entry level in companii sau agentii, persoane care isi lanseaza afacerea – cat si pentru cei experimentat. Primii pot afla o sumedenie de lucruri interesante si pot chiar pune intrebari si obtine raspunsuri la preocuparile lor. Cei experimentati pot face schimb de cunostinte, pot dialoga cu altii cu aceeasi pregatire dar alta experienta. In sfarsit, in functie de cum se utilizeaza discutiile se poate ca o persoana sa isi consolideze si pozitia de expert participand la asemenea Twitter chat-uri si ca atare beneficiile sa fie multiple.
