Carti – cumparate sau downloadate?
Sa incercam sa ne gandim la intregul proces care duce la aparitia unei lucrari: autorul creeaza, scrie un material (fie ca este o carte dintr-un anumit domeniu, fie ca este un roman). In urma unui proces complex, o carte apare la o editura.
Autorul poate fi un nume care sa atraga; domeniul poate fi interesant, la fel ca tema; abordarea poate fi una incitanta – toate acestea si multe altele sunt motivele pentru care o carte ar putea fi achizitionata.
Catia scrie la ea recent despre carti care ne marcheaza – si intr-adevar probabil ca toti avem astfel de lucrari pe care si astazi le apreciem desi poate paginile sunt ingalbenite sau cartea nu mai sta legata ca la aparitie.
Sunt carti care trec de la o generatie la alta. Sunt lucrari pe care le imprumutam de la prieteni – sau le oferim ca imprumut – pentru ca si altii sa se bucure de informatiile, intamplarile din acele pagini.
De ce am cumpara? Pentru ca astfel noi carti – ale unui autor ar putea aparea. Daca este cautat – si citit, se epuizeaza tirajul si se poate retipari o lucrare sau publica un nou titlu. Daca insa se downloadeaza si nu se vand cartile, atunci probabil ca si lucrari viitoare vor fi mai greu de publicat.
Pentru ca placerea de a rasfoi o carte nu se poate regasi in lectura pe calculator. Pentru ca este placut sa citesti o carte in formatul in care apare.
Pentru ca download-ul ilegal ramane ilegal…
De ce nu? Din cauza preturilor – evident ca nu toata lumea isi permite sa achizitioneze toate cartile pe care si le doreste.
Pentru ca unii prefera sa citeasca pe calculator – chiar la birou – sau nu suporta biblioteca in casa.
Se compara insa un album de arta in format digital cu unul print?
Cu siguranta exista oameni si oameni, motive si motive.
Cand insa pentru ca o carte sa apara exista costuri insemnate, se munceste intens, lucrand multe persoane, este pacat sa fie download-uri semnificative ca numar.

una din marile probleme de care se loveste consumatorul de carte din romania este pretul cartilor. insa in strainatate se gasesc solutii pentru asta, de exemplu : editii multiple, soft cover si hardcover, cei cu mai multi bani pot cumpara editia cartonata, editarea in fascicole, editii economice ca sa nu vorbesc de discount-urile periodice din orice librarie care se respecta.
locuiesc intr-o tara in care se constata un boom al lecturii, tot timpul vezi oameni citind pe strazi, la librarii sunt cozi peste tot si ma apuca asa o tristete stiind ca in romania exista pusti care pina la 18 ani nu au citit nici o carte in afara celor scolare…si ma indoiesc ca o vor mai face vreodata.
Mi-a scapat , asa fara sa vreau un oftat…Nu ma mai gandesc la povestea mea, de fapt povestea tuturor celor care scriu( legata de DISTRIBUTIA DE CARTE), nu ma mai gandesc la munca , la banii pe care un autor e nevoit sa ii aloce pentru ca visul lui sa prinda aripi si sa zboare catre cititor. Caci pana la urma el, cititorul, e cel care hotaraste. Dar pentru asa ceva e nevoie ca la el sa ajunga produsul-carte.
Imi aduc aminte ca in urma cu cativa ani am vazut unul dintre acele filme care prevesteau pentru omenire un viitor ORIBIL. Intr-o tara se mai gasea doar o carte…Devenise ceva atat de pretios , incat oamenii care isi mai aduceau aminte si mai ales simteau ca au inca suflet, o citeau pe ascuns , in tuneluri subterane. Acea Carte devenise ultima lor speranta, licarul acela delicat , dar totusi suficient de puternic care sa-i faca sa riste. Semana cumva cu perioada in care omenirea se gandea la crestinism. Ideea e ca o carte e ceva ce trebuie citit in forma ei concreta: suport de hartie, coperte, imagini. La o carte lucreaza o intreaga echipa: autor, corector, redactor , tipografie, ilustrator, grafician…Si lista ar putea continua daca ne gandim mai ales la editurile din State ( unde pot lucra si peste o suta de persoane la o carte).Codul lui Da Vinci ( Dan Brown) a fost realizat prin munca unei echipe destul de numeroase. Eu , personal nu pot citi o carte pe internet…O carte trebuie citita si simtita, altminteri…Cat despre costul mare al cartilor, aici e o alta poveste. Daca totul e un negot , evident ca unii vor sa castige mult si repede. Cu siguranta ca nu neaparat AUTORUL.
@ catia, apropo de film, nu stiu daca e vorba de Fahrenheit 451 al lui truffaut, dar eram mica cind l-am vazut si mi-au ramas frinturi din el in memorie ce m-au bintuit toata viata…oamenii-carti, cartile arzind in pietele publice…speranta si deznadejdea…ce frumos obiect…cartea…. ce stare placuta…lectura….

Fahrenheit 451 , film regizat de Truffaut, dupa romanul lui Ray Bradbury.Este temperatura la care hartia incepe sa arda….Cred ca am vazut filmul prin anii 80, nu mai stiu exact…Am asociat insa eronat locul unde oamenii citeau cu un alt film probabil. Acea carte, din filmul lui Truffaut, era citita la o margine de padure …Acolo se adunau toti cei care aveau curajul sa citeasca. Un jurnal…Jurnalul lui Henri Bulard de Stendhal.
Si mai e ceva. Poate mult mai important! Acei oameni stiau pe dinafara o carte. Erau practic o carte si se prezentau cu titlul cartii…Uimitor de frumos !
O carte tiparita nu iti ofera doar placerea citirii in fotoliu, ci si o putere mai mare de concentrare, deci o putere de sesizare a anumitor amanunte.
Un motiv PRO, pentru cartile electronice, ar fi spatiul de depozitare. Dau un exemplu propriu 🙂 , “am adunat” in 14-15 ani de lectura, peste 90 de carti ale lui Pavel Corut. Incep sa-mi pun problema vanzarii lor (chiar daca imi plac)… imi ocupa 2 rafturi in biblioteca… Deja am, unele carti, “depozitate” in spatii aiurea… pe diferite alte obiecte de mobilier. Spatiu de alta biblioteca nu am!!!

Pentru ca e incomod sa citesti sute de pagini pe monitor si te dor ochii. Daca o carte care ” te tine priza” poate fi dovenita intr-o noapte, atunci copia ei downloadata poate fi dovenita in … cate zile?
Pentru ca o carte trebuie pipaita, rasfoita usor si… mirosita! Sunt unele care miros mai bine ca altele – am citit de curand o carte care este tiparita pe hartie lucioasa, de calitate si care miroase oribil. Bine ca se citeste repede!
Pentru ca e mult mai placut sa adormi in pat, cu cartea langa tine, decat cu capul pe tastatura.
Pentru ca la un virus mai zdravan biblioteca de pdf-uri poate sa dispara, pe cand cartile rezista chiar si la inundatii. 😀 [Inundatii din astea mici, cauzate de o teava sparta]
Pentru ca poate avea o mare valoare sentimentala (si chiar istorica).
E interesant ce se intampla azi in Romania in ceea ce priveste cartile, achizionarea si lectura lor. Sunt de acord cu Lola si sper ca in curand sa avem si noi perioade serioase de reduceri in librarii, editii economice si…. carti tiparite pa hartie ecologica!!:)
In plus, cred ca si Vaticanul cu al sau Index ar prefera cartile fizice. Nu de alta, dar e mai usor sa le aduni intr-o piata pe cele care pot dauna judecatii unui bun crestin si sa le pui pe rug. Pe cand cu pdf-urile ce sa faci?? Mai greu sa separi graul de neghina in lumea virtuala :P:P
