Machiajul le ajuta pe femei in afaceri – studiu
Un studiu recent finantat de Procter & Gamble si Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston University arata ca machiajul, modul in care se prezinta o femeie, poate influenta perceptia celorlalti asupra ei si de asemenea poate influenta succesul in cariera si afaceri.
Se spune ca haina face pe om – desi, adaug eu, nu asa ar trebui sa stea lucrurile. Iata ca si aspectul poate sa influenteze parerea celorlalti despre o persoana.
Vorbim asadar despre imagine. Modul in care arata o persoana este desigur prima impresie pe care o face acea persoana in diverse contexte. Cu siguranta conteaza si ce spune, cum se poarta, experienta etc. Dar iata ca simplul machiaj poate ajuta sau nu o femeie.
Studiul despre care aminteam a examinat relatia dintre cantitatea de machiaj pe care o foloseste o femeie si atractivitatea, competenta, increderea s.a. percepute de altii cu privire la acea femeie. 25 de femei cu varste intre 20 si 50 de ani si avand aspect diferit (albe, hispanice etc.) au fost fotografiate fara machiaj, in timpul sedintei de machiere si cu machiaj. 149 de adulti – dintre care 61 barbati – au vazut apoi pozele pentru 250 de milisecunde si au fost pusi sa precizeze gradul de atractivitate, competenta, incredere etc. – cele 4 categorii selectate – pentru fiecare persoana in parte. Unui alt grup format din 119 adulti dintre care 30 barbati au fost pusi sa precizeze aceleasi elemente dar putand sa se uite la poze atat timp cat doresc.
Rezultatele au fost clare: machiajul influenteaza in mod relevant modul in care o femeie este perceputa, aparand cresteri fabuloase in ceea ce priveste elementele analizate. Gasiti de altel inregul studiu si concluziile lui prezentate aici.
Acum eu vin si va intreb ce parere aveti despre aceste rezultate.
As adauga de asemenea ca exista persoane care sunt frumoase pur si simplu – atractive cu si fara machiaj – dar ca intr-adevar o femeie poate sa isi puna in valoare anumite trasaturi, poate sa utilizeze machiajul ca pe un truc (sa ne gandim numai la buze ispititoare obtinute cu o anumita nuanta de ruj si eventual cu un luciu) etc.
Adaug insa si ca sunt persoane alergice la pigmenti diferiti – fie din farduri, fonduri de ten si pudre, , fie din rimel fie din rujuri. In acest caz nu pot folosi diverse produse care poate le-ar putea ajuta.
In sfarsit aduc in discutie si aspectul chimic – se stie ca rujul se inghite (exista de altfel si un sutiu care arata cam cat ruj inghite in medie o femeie de-a lungul vietii) – dar nu doar al acestuia intrucat aproape orice produs contine ceva chimic (intr-o proportie mai mare sau mai mica). Chiar si la produsele bio sunt multi oameni alergici (nu mai zicem de preturile acestora sau de lipsa unor nuante cautate).
Tinand cont asadar de toate aceste aspecte va intreb pe voi: pentru voi este relevant modul in care se machiaza o femeie? Va influenteaza acest lucru atunci cand o angajati, cand decideti sa colaborati cu o femeie etc.?

Pe mine unul nu mă înteresează dacă È™i cum se machiază femeile cu care lucrez. Evident, dacă e ceva È›ipător mă deranjează…
Din fericire cu ce ruj ne dam, putem alege si in consecinta si ce inghitim … insa poluarea de exemplu nu o putem controla.
Evident ca este important felul in care arata si se prezinta o femeie; sunt semne care decodifica un statut social, educatia, mediul in care traieste. Cu siguranta ca machiajul va face parte din prima impresie si sigur ca tinem cont pentru ca va trezi in noi o reactie; iar daca nu vrem sa tinem cont, atunci sa incercam sa ne inchipuim si cum ar fi fara haine – nu e o invitatie perversa :).
Din nefericire, desi exista multe materiale de informare despre produsele de ingrijire si machiaj, ajunge sa precumpaneasca tot acele produse cu reclama pe TV care de obicei sunt intesate de pigmenti daunatori, conservanti care penetreaza in piele (exista si care nu penetreaza), parfumuri – care alergizeaza s.a.m.d.

Acum logic vorbind – da, te uiti la cum arata cineva (involuntar), indiferent ca esti femeie sau barbat. Si da, sunt femei care se schimba dramatic cu ajutorul machiajului.
Insa acea prima impresie nu trebuie sa conteze de vreun fel. Mai important e daca miroase, daca are hainele nespalate etc. Poate fi ingrijita dar neprofesionista – asa ca da, ar trebui sa conteze ce spune si ce face. Nici macar prima impresie legata de ce spune nu conteaza.
E drept insa ca avem acum si niste spoturi recente care arata cum sa minti ca sa ai succes – vezi reclama cu tanarul care se duce sa se angajeze si intra pe net, afla ca seful potential e pasionat de motociclete si isi cumpara si el o casca. Adica din start ideea de inselat – si avem de-a face cu un barbat.
Voi ce ziceti: este machiajul – si sunt elementele precum cele infatisate in acea reclama – un mod de a manipula?
Si da, desigur ca e important cand devine tipator – deranjant. Sa nu uitam ca au fost si cazuri de femei concediate pentru ca se imbracau in asa hal de niciun barbat nu mai lucra (si in firma in care predominau domnii…). 😀

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
