Un nou computer tomograf pentru Spitalul Grigore Alexandrescu prin campania “Mi-e pofta sa fac bine”
Niciun parinte nu isi doreste sa aiba nevoie sa mearga la doctor cu copilul pentru altceva decat controale de rutina si cate-un vaccin. Numai ca, din pacate, se poate intampla sa ajungi la spital. De urgenta sau nu, ai nevoie de servicii medicale cat mai bune.
Recunosc, sunt un parinte fericit intrucat Eric a fost in general OK. A racit insa o data rau, astfel ca sotul meu si o prietena (intrucat eu nu puteam merge deloc, eram dupa operatie) au ajuns noaptea cu el la spital cu febra 40 grade. Nu tocmai fericita situatia, insa au reusit sa i-o scada repede si sa se intoarca acasa dupa cateva ore. Repet insa: acesta a fost un caz fericit, pentru ca a fost vorba doar de o raceala care, tratata, nu a avut complicatii.
Dar nu e mereu asa de simplu. Din pacate. Si cel mai rau este cand mergi la spital si afli ca, din lipsa banilor, nu exista un aparat sau anumite instrumente sau kit-uri care ar putea salva viata copilului tau. Si credeti-ma stiu ce inseamna sa in fie in spital kit-urile necesare, pentru ca eu la operatia de la picior am platit, in spital de stat, kitul artroscopic necesar si am zis mersi ca am avut cardul de credit cu care sa facem plata ca altfel…
Dar aici nu e vorba despre parinti, ci despre copii. Despre fiintele carora le dai viata si pentru care ti-ai da viata. Nu e nimic mai frustrant sa stii ca nu ai acces la ceva ce ti-ar putea ajuta copilul.
La spitalul Grigore Alexandrescu vin zilnic multi copii cu probleme, si sigur multi au fost salvati in timp de medicii si personalul de aici. Si aceasta si cu ajutorul aparaturii disponibile.
M-am bucurat sa aflu acum doua zile ca se lanseaza o campanie prin care se doreste sa se stranga bani pentru utilizarea Spitalului Grigore Alexandrescu cu un nou computer tomograf. Am primit o invitatie la conferinta de presa, insa din pacate eu sunt intr-o perioada de regres cu evolutia post-operatorie asa ca nu am putut ajunge. Am primit insa comunicatul de presa drept pentru care am ales sa scriu aici despre aceasta initiativa.
McDonalds lanseaza asadar campania “Mi-e pofta sa fac bine” prin intermediul careia in perioada 19-25 noiembrie compania doneaza cate 1 leu din valuarea oricarui Big Mac sau McChiken cumparat (sandvis sau meniu) catre Fundatia pentru Copii Ronald McDonald. Scopul campaniei este sa ajute la imbunatatirea serviciilor de diagnostic si tratament de la spitalul Grigore Alexandrescu prin dotarea acestuia cu un nou computer tomograf.
Compania are in fapt o campanie mai ampla, care se desfasoara pe parcursul a 12 luni si care urmareste sa imbunatateasca conditiile de tratament si sa ofere servicii medicale performante in cadrul spitalului. Adica exact lucrurile de care cei mici au nevoie. Diagnostic clar si rapid pentru identificarea problemelor si gasirea tratamentului potrivit.
Va prezint mai jos si declaratiile oficiale cu privire la aceasta initiativa:

Prin noua inițiativă continuăm să răspundem tuturor nevoilor medicale ale pacienţilor noştri şi să fim un adevărat punct de sprijin pentru ei. Nici nu vă puteți imagina cât de mult o să contribuie acest computer tomograf la buna desfășurare a activității noastre.”, a precizat Prof. dr. Dan Enescu, Manager Spitalul de Copii Grigore Alexandrescu.
Eu una ma bucur cand aud de asemenea campanii de CSR care aduc rezultate vizibile si concrete. Sper ca in perioada 19-25 noiembrie sa se stranga banii necesari achizitionarii computerului tomograf pentru ca, desi mi-as placea nespus ca niciun copil sa nu aiba nevoie de el, stiu ca probleme pot aparea si ca accesul la servicii medicale private este destul de dificil pentru multe persoane, astfel ca aparatura performanta disponibila in spitalele de stat ca si medicii bine-pregatiti pot face diferenta intre viata si moarte. O initiativa asadar demna de lauda a McDonalds si mult succes campaniei “Mi-e pofta sa fac bine”!

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
