Despre carduri si mancare, Viena si Romania – sfaturi/pregatiri de calatorie
Rezistand cu greu sa scriu despre cel mai neasteptat lucru din Viena, iata ca astazi m-am gandit sa astern niste randuri despre banci, carduri – bani in Viena, Austria.
Indiferent de locul in care mergi – ca ajungi pe Mariahilferstrasse la cumparaturi sau in muzee sau in diverse locuri de unde vrei sa iei ceva sau doresti sa achiti o consumatie – e de dorit sa ai si cash. Motivele sunt simple: s-ar putea sa aveti minunata surpriza ca al dumneavoastra card sa fie refuzat.
Chiar daca pe toate aparatele scrie ca accepta si Visa, si Maestro si Mastercard si altele – si chiar daca al dumneavoastra card este dintre acele marci – si tot s-ar putea sa nu fie acceptat. Motivele sunt diverse. Ba e cardul prea nou, ba nu accepta cardurile de credit, ba nu stiu pur si simplu ce are – cert e ca daca vrei sa iei ceva trebuie sa platesti cash.
Sunt multe e drept si locurile unde functioneaza plata cu cardul – insa de la supermarketuri pana la muzee si magazine, peste tot e posibil sa aveti si surprize neplacute.
Inca un exemplu este legat chiar ceva absolut necesar: mancarea. Sunt restaurante – unele cu specific austriac – unde veti gasi preparate de foarte buna calitate, portii mari – si unde veti putea plati cu card. Puteti avea si locuri in care insa cardul nu va functiona. Daca veti merge la fast-food veti remarca si aici diferente. La McDonalds veti gasi tipuri de meniuri care la noi nu se regasesc. La KFC veti descoperi ca meniul de 5 crispy strips de la noi (unde exista si varianta de 8 strips) – la ei e meniu de 3 crispy strips si de 5 (meniul cel mare). Pretul (ca sa fie distractiv pana la capat) – pentru portia de 3 pretul e ceva mai mare decat cel pentru meniul de 5 de aici. La niciun fast food nu a functionat cardul – evident cu o exceptie ce confirma regula (un Mc Donalds).
Vestea buna e ca, desi mult mai greu decat la noi, veti gasi bancomate de la care veti putea scoate bani in caz ca aveti nevoie.
Calatorie placuta si bani dub toate formele!
