Iar vin Sanzienele. Si, ca in fiecare an, isi pun amprenta asupra mea. Si, ca intotdeauna, ma intreb daca asta mi se trage de la faptul ca am invatat in scoala de pe Strada Mantuleasa sau pentru ca iubesc, pur si simplu, scriitura lui Mircea Eliade sau deoarece in fiecare an mai descopar cate ceva – interesant e prea putin spus – legat de aceasta sarbatoare.
Oare aceasta sarbatoare este inconjurata de o aura magica datorita faptului ca Sanzienele au semnificatie atat pentru noaptea premergatoare cat si pentru ziua propriu-zisa? Se crede ca este ziua in care minunile sunt posibile, fiind apogeul fortelor benefice. Dar este si noaptea magica in care Cerurile se deschid si putem intelege limbajul animalelor.

Macar asa s-ar putea pastra cate ceva din infinita intelepciune popular, aproape uitata astazi. Nici macar nu voi incerca sa le trec in revista. Mi-ar fi imposibil. In primul rand pentru ca nici eu nu cunosc totul despre Sarbatoarea de Sânziene. In al doilea rand pentru ca as strica placerea oricui ar vrea sa descopere singur semnificatia Sanzienelor pentru poporul roman. In al treilea rand pentru ca doar as plagia munca altora care au plecat urechea la ce povestesc soptit si hatru taranii si tarancile care inca mai cunosc aceasta bogatie de intelepciune, care au reusit miraculus ca si in secolul al XX-lea sa creada si sa pastreze cu sfintenie acest izvor.
Si nu as putea sa inchei micile mele randuri-ganduri fara a pomeni inspiratia de neegalat pentru nemuritoarea „Noapte de Sanziene” a lui Mircea Eliade.
Sper ca am reusit sa va starnesc putin curiozitatea, astfel incat sa cautati si sa descoperiti cate ceva despre Sarbatoarea de Sânziene. Eu o fac in fiecare an. Si mereu descopar ceva ce inca nu stiam.
