Asteptarile duc la dezamagiri
Atunci cand ceva este promovat ca fiind special, deosebit, nemaipomenit etc. se poate intampla ca rezultatul sa fie o mare dezamagire.
Marile asteptari pot duce la mari dezamagiri. Sa vedem si niste exemple: asteptari mari de la o conferinta (de afaceri, social media etc.) sau de la o persoana. Rezultat obtinut: niste vorbitori care reusesc mai mult sau mai putin sa captiveze auditoriul dar care nu spun lucruri nemaipomenite (cel mult motivatoare). Sa nu uitam doar ca in afaceri exista doua reguli importante: prima: sa nu spui tot ce stii.
Alt exemplu: asteptari deosebite de la o persoana – de ajutor intr-un moment de pilda, sau de la ce poate face in plan profesional intr-un anumit proiect. Rezultat obtinut: acelasi ca lucrand cu o persoana mai putin faimoasa, ori rezultate chiar mai mici ori lipsa completa a ajutorului, insa multa vorbarie, entuziasm, mult praf in ochi.
In sfarsit, atunci cand calatorim putem avea asteptari mari de la un anumit oras care este pozitionat intr-un anume fel. Si-apoi se poate sa ajungem in acel loc si sa constatam ca nu avem deloc sentimentul de a fi in cel mai romantic/frumos/insorit etc. oras (in functie de pozitionare), ca exista locuri frumoase de descoperit si pastrat in suflet, dar nu pe masura asteptarilor noastre.
Concluzia? Atentie la asteptarile pe care le creati – daca vorbim de afaceri/marci care doresc sa fie percepute intr-un anumit mod – sau pe care le aveti – de la un oras/loc de munca/om etc.
Cel mai simplu este sa luam totul asa cum vine, sa ne bucuram de ceea ce vedem/primim, descoperim, sa ne pastram o atitudine deschisa catre nou fara a avea insa asteptari foarte mari de la ceva pentru a nu fi dezamagiti.
Voi ati fost dezamagiti de persoane de la care asteptati sa se poarte intr-un anume fel candva? Ati fost dezamagiti de un oras din tara sau strainatate care nu era asa cum a fost promovat? Sunt marci sau produse care nu se ridica la inaltimea asteptarilor voastre din diverse puncte de vedere?
PS: o mica precizare: evident ca nu intotdeauna se intampla ca locul/persoana etc. sa nu se ridice la inaltime asteptarilor si ca adesea sunt chiar surprize frumoase, cu alte cuvinte nu este o regula ca asteptarile mari sa duca la dezamagiri.
