Iată două exemple de companii:
- Angajații nu vorbesc decât cu ™eful direct ™i nici nu l-au văzut vreodată la față pe CEO. Task-urile sunt trimise pe email, fără explicații contextuale. Rezultatele se raportează într-un ERP ™i sunt convertite în numere, bugete ™i procente. La ce oare lucrează colegii din altă echipă? E secret.
- Angajații se tutuiesc cu CEO-ul ™i iau masa în aceea™i sală. Task-urile se transmit verbal ™i doar se consemnează într-un ERP. La ™edințe se discută despre planuri de viitor ™i despre cum merge compania. Se fac brainstorming-uri ™i angajații pot să-™i exprime ideile despre produsele companiei.
În care dintre cele două companii ai prefera să lucrezi? Angajații căreia dintre cele două companii crezi că sunt mai fericiți? Care crezi că-™i vor vorbi de bine angajatorul ™i care vor avea vorbe pline de venin, atunci când î™i vor găsi alt job? În care dintre cazuri crezi că există o mai mare stabilitate (™i, respectiv, o mai mică fluctuație de personal)?

Dacă însă ai ales numărul 2, e™ti manager, patron sau doar team leader, ™i vrei să construie™ti acea atmosferă de încredere ™i armonie care să-ți facă subordonații să vină bucuro™i la birou, am un singur sfat să-ți dau:
Keep them in the loop. Sau, cu alte cuvinte, comunică cu angajații tăi.
1. Chiar dacă ai foarte mulți angajați, fă un efort să le reții prenumele. Tratează-i ca pe ni™te colegi, nu ca pe ni™te servitori.
2. Prezintă-le, în linii generale, strategiile companiei. Poate părea inutil să-i vorbe™ti angajatului de la tehnic despre strategia de marketing, dar este foarte important ca el să înțeleagă în ce direcție merge compania ™i să simtă că face parte din ea.
3. Prezintă-le clienții ™i partenerii companiei. Arată-le cum sunt folosite “în viața reală”, produsele la care lucrează. Se vor bucura să facă rezultatul muncii lor ™i asta îi va responsabiliza.
4. Împărtă™e™te cu ei succesele: lansări de produse, obținerea unui contract important, cifrele cheie (“am depă™it un milion de euro venituri anuale”) ™i feedback-urile pozitive din piață sau din partea mass-media. Nimic nu motivează mai mult decât succesul ™i o laudă sinceră.
5. Dezvăluie-le ™i e™ecurile. Nu este o ru™ine să recuno™ti că s-au făcut gre™eli, fie tehnice, fie comerciale. Angajații nu te vor disprețui, ci vor aprecia faptul că nu sunt condu™i de ni™te sheet-uri în Excel, ci de oameni adevărați. Vor înțelege astfel mai u™or situațiile de criză ™i te vor ajuta activ să treci peste ele. Și, în definitiv, cine ™tie de unde prime™ti un sfat salvator?
6. Poartă cu ei discuții banale: ultimele ™tiri politice, sportive sau cel mai amuzant viral al săptămânii. Evident, descurajează bârfele despre angajați sau concurență, dar încurajează crearea de “inside jokes” ™i amintirea momentelor amuzante sau de mare bucurie din istoria companiei.
