Ce ne aduce summit-ul?
De cand s-a aflat despre faptul ca Romania va fi gazda summit-ului din aprilie 2008, romanii au inceput sa comenteze. Ba ca sunt prea multe fondurile alocate in acest sens, ba ca o sa fie prapad cu circulatia in acel timp si tot asa.
Partea cu cheltuielile este adevarata.
In afara de aceasta, de astazi si circulatia e ingreunata in Bucuresti – cei ce au iesit astazi in oras au vazut ca daca vii dinspre Calea Plevnei si vrei sa ajungi spre Universitate, trebuie sa stai la coada si sa ajungi abia in Romana de unde te reorientezi (nu vorbim si de cat de mult dureaza ocolul – atentie intr-o zi de sambata cand se face simularea, nu in cursul saptamanii cand lumea merge la birou).
Unora summit-ul le aduce zile libere – de voie…. sau de nevoie (in anumite zile nici pietonii nu vor avea acces pe unele strazi).
Aceasta este suprafata la care se opresc cei mai multi cand vine vorba despre summit: cheltuiala, circulatie cu probleme si/sau zile libere (zile pe care multi si le-ar dori intrucat oricum vor intarzia la birou si vor ajunge deja enervati – vor dezbate pe larg cu colegii si dupa masa de pran se vor gandi deja la cum va fi seara, la intoarcere).
Ce se intampla insa in adanc? Ce mai putem spune ca aduce summit-ul? Avem un castig de imagine ca tara organizatoare? Sunt alte beneficii?

Despre avantajele summit-ului nu se prea vorbeste, deocamdata se mediatizeaza la nivel de barfa si atat. Poate sunt lucruri confidentiale, agenda de zi fiind secret de stat, dar trebuia gasita o formula de informare a avantajelor summit-ului, care or fi acelea?
Si eu m-am gandit ca ne va creste ratingul de tara, cosmetizarea Bucurestiului este un bun castigat. Dar Occidentul nu vrea scut Nato in Europa, atunci?
O bila alba in peisajul politic international, un nou orizont pentru business-ul romanesc, imbunatatirea imaginii Romaniei. Mai important decat atat, summit-ul reprezinta o obligatie a Romaniei de a respecta niste acorduri categoric stabilite. Ca sa obtii ceva trebuie sa oferi ceva, nu ?
Eu ma intreb de ce Romania a fost aleasa ca locatie a summitului. Am cateva posibile motive in minte, dar mi-ar placea sa se discute mai mult despre asta. Care sunt interesele, mizele….si care e finalitatea?
