Stiati ca azi, prin traditie, femeile pot cere barbatii in casatorie?
Ei bine, da, si eu am aflat tot in acest an. Dar, cum se spune, cat traiesti, inveti.
Exista o legenda – chiar frumoasa pe care m-am gandit sa v-o spun si voua.
Se spune ca totul a inceput in secolul al V-lea in Irlanda cu Sf. Bridget care s-a plans Sf. Patrick ca femeile trebuie sa astepte enorm de mult sa fie cerute in casatorie de barbati. Ca un soi de compromos, Sf. Patrick le-a oferit femeilor posibilitatea de a-si cere iubitii in casatorie pe 29 februarie. Adica o data la 4 ani ;). Adica ar fi momentul sa profitati daca va doriti sa faceti pasul 😉
Cum 29 februarie e mai degraba o zi pentru a “egala” calendarul, bineinteles ca au fost probleme si cu recunoasterea acestei… traditii. Abia in anul 1228 se presupune ca Scotia ar fi aprobat o lege prin care femeile puteau sa ceara in casatorie barbatii intr-un an bisect.
Ceea ce mi-a placut de asemenea este ca in aceasta traditie barbatii care refuza cererea trebuiau sa plateasca o amenda 😀 care varia de la un sarut la plata pentru o rochie de matase sau o pereche de manusi.
Aceasta traditie ca femeia sa propune casatoria exista si in alte parti. In SUA de pilda, se spune ca in prima sambata din noiembrie – numita Sadie Hawkins Day – femeile pot face acelasi lucru: sa ceara burlacii in casatorie. (Sadie Hawkin a fost un personaj intr-o banda desenata, iar motivul pentru care e sarbatorita ziua in noiembrie e pentru ca personajul a aparut prima oara in banda pe 15 niiembrie 1937.)
Bineinteles exista si o superstitie apropo de anii bisecti si casatoria. Astfel, grecii cred ca aduce ghinion sa te casatoresti in an bisect – aparent unul din cupluri de logodnici evitand casatoria intr-un asemenea an.
Mie una mi-au placut traditiile despre care am citit aici. Voua?

Oricum traditia aceasta a aparut pentru ca multi barbati se tem sa faca acest pas. Cu siguranta ca depinde de la un cuplu la altul. Eu recunosc ca am fost ceruta in casatorie, nu am cerut eu.
Dar mi-a placut aceasta traditie si legenda din spatele ei – si ma bucur sa aud ca sunt cupluri in care ea face pasul 😉 (pe 29 februarie sau nu).
Eu cred ca nu trebuie sa stricam o dragoste frumoasa cu o casatorie 🙂
Nu cred ca o poveste frumoasa de iubire se strica printr-o casatorie. Cel putin la mine si la multi dintre prietenii mei nu a fost cazul. M-am casatorit la putin timp dupa ce l-am cunoscut pe Andrei si iata-ne acum, aproape 7 ani mai tarziu, fericiti impreuna, cu un fiu de 8 luni si construindu-ne o casa pentru viitorul nostru. Sigur, nu e asa cu toti oamenii – dar cred ca povestile frumoase rezista si se consolideaza intr-o casatorie:)

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
